The International Art and Framing Group (IAFG), the leading producer of art shows in the world, and the producers of the successful Artexpo New York and Art Miami, will present the first-ever Artexpo Atlanta, September 10 - 12, drawing nearly 20,000 art enthusiasts to the Georgia World Congress Center.

Under the theme Art for All, Artexpo Atlanta will showcase art for every taste, style and budget for new collectors, art enthusiasts and patrons wishing to add to their collections. Art, ranging from original works to high-quality reproductions, will be on display. There will be paintings, prints, sculptures, photography, animation and decorative arts.

Thursday, September 9, 6pm - 9pm Artexpo Atlanta Preview Party $25
Join Atlanta’s political, business and cultural leaders in celebration of the local arts community featuring performance artist Trevor Carlton, famous for painting popular Disney characters during a frenetic, energized live performance in as little as 15 minutes. The painting created at the party will be sold at silent auction immediately following its completion. Proceeds from this event benefit local Atlanta arts organizations including the Atlanta Gallery Association, MOCAga, Art Papers and the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center.

Saturday, September 11, 8:30 a.m. - Industry Breakfast
Philip Brookman, curator of media arts and photography at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington D.C., will give the keynote speech. Industry professionals and art enthusiasts will have the pleasure of discussing the impact of photography with Brookman, who, over the years, has been known to exhibit many controversial displays at the Corcoran Gallery.

Friday, September 10, 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 11, 10:00 a.m. - Experts Discuss Preserving Fine Art
Renowned photograph expert Daile Kaplan, considered one of the nation’s foremost experts in photography, and appraiser/consultant Kathleen Harwood, a recognized specialist in American and European paintings and drawings, will deliver a special lecture on preserving art. The pair will discuss how the natural environment and method of storage affects priceless fine art and photography.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
The SOLO Pavilion - Featured among the galleries and art publishers, a special area of the show floor is dedicated to independent artists that have yet to sign with a gallery or art dealer.

Claret Arts and Larson -Juhl offer limited-edition Pasadena Tournament of Roses Vintage Giclees dating to 1890. The prints, representations of one of America’s most storied sporting events - were once promotional pieces for the popular Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade held each New Year’s Day before the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. In conjunction with the Vintage Images, Claret Arts and Art Business News - the industry’s leading publication - are co-sponsoring a trip for two to the 2005 Rose Bowl. The Art of Selling on Ebay
Join Lara Bridges and Jennifer Ibarra, Category Managers for Art on eBay, will host daily seminars on selling art on eBay, for galleries interested in expanding their art businesses to millions of potential new customers. They will discuss how eBay gives you access to a global audience for your artwork, and how you can create your own virtual gallery on eBay. Tickets for Artexpo Atlanta will be available at the Georgia World Congress Center box office the days of the show, or by logging onto www.ticketalternative.com.
