Electra, Atlanta's first non-smoking lounge caters to sophisticated, professional clientele who desire more style out of their nightlife environment. Set in a 1950s house, Electra's combination of old and modern décor has produced an environment that is both quirky and elegant.

Staying true to its retro theme, Electra offers a drink menu reminiscent of the 1920s when cocktails were as sophisticated as the Hollywood stars who drank them. At Electra, the tradition of the champagne cocktail has been revived and is offered along with innovative martini recipes and the classic gentleman's drink, the mint julep. Signature Drinks include 22 Types of Vodka for the perfect Martini, Bubbly Champagne Cocktails and Atlanta's only true Mint Julep.

Check out Electra for yourself on Thursday, September 23rd with two great events: Kenneth Jones of Aspen Productions with Suzanne Shaw Cashin of PennHouse Productions present the fall's first Schmooze Happy Hour at Electra in celebration of the launch of www.theschmoozeatlanta.com, from 6pm -9pm. The Schmooze is a monthly networking event focused on fostering relationships between professionals primarily in the hospitality and related service industries.

At 9pm, stay for Lure, Atlanta's newest Thursday night happening, with DJs J-Luv, Steven O and Rachel Pryor. This troupe begins the evening with loungey acid jazz and down tempo and later evolves into house spinning into the wee hours.

The modern and comfortable Electra is located in Buckhead at 3081 E. Shadowlawn Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30305.
