The Second Annual Downtown Design Excellence Award distinguishes newly
Created Downtown spaces that represent innovative and unique design.

Awards will be presented in two categories:
INTERIOR AWARD for space functionality, interior design, innovation and/or preservation of historic character

EXTERIOR AWARD for visual appeal of façade and building's relationship with surroundings

Four judges will select the best designs in each category. Public voting, conducted through the ADDEA website, will act as fifth vote to determine winners.

The 2007 ADDEA Judges are:
• Scott Reilly-Owner of Retromodern
• Richard Laub-Director of Heritage Preservation Program, Georgia State University
• Laura Moody-Director of Communication & Exhibitions, Museum of Design Atlanta
• Hector Sanchez-Design Director at Atlanta Magazine

Awards will be presented at Downtown Development Day
