Jean Larson
La Beaute Essentielle VIII
Oil on canvas
55" x 53"

Alan Avery Art Company will feature the work of renowned artists Jean Larson and Larry Gray.

The flowers in Jean Larson`s paintings are not your traditional representational images. Larson focuses on the emotional interplay between light and color that is inspired by her home environments, the Midwest and rural France.

Larry Gray creates atmospheric landscapes dealing with time, light and space. Gray has become a nationally recognized painter, with almost 70 solo exhibitions. Gray studied at the University of Georgia and Yale University, then taught at Humboldt State University in California. His work is featured in the permanent collections of several museums, such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Not a brush stroke to be seen... This photo realistic artist compels you to sit down and enjoy the feast he has prepared for you. Yingzhao`s still lifes are masterful in their execution and flawless in his depiction of the subject. His use of color and light brings these vibrant images alive. Each piece is exemplary of the photo realist genre and fully captures the essence of still life painting.

While participating in an assemblage of Chinese oil painters, Liu was introduced to the American market. Over his career, he has won several awards and honors including those at the International Fair of Asian Arts, the Biannual Oil Painting Symposium in Yanani. Svetlana Shalygina
Shy
Mixed media on canvas
30" x 30"
Hanging on the walls at Huff Harrington Fine Art: we love these abstracted and heavily textured figures from new artist, Svetlana Shalygina. We`ve also just received new work from Lorraine Christie (three paintings of love, loss and chance encounters all against a Parisian-inspired background). And, we`re showing plenty of new work from our French artists who always make us proud with beautifully executed and luminescent work (at an excellent value, as well).

Located on a quiet little street in Atlanta`s Buckhead neighborhood, Huff Harrington Fine Art is a little oasis of art, carefully curated and displayed in a warm and cozy ranch house. Each of the gallery`s seven rambling rooms is a neutral backdrop for the gallery’s ever-changing selection of representational, abstract and impressionist art. Owners Ann Huff and Meg Harrington work with a number of emerging and mid-career American and French artists who paint in a variety of styles and media.
