Our apologies! The talented kids of Bright Futures are double booked this month! We will host their show on Thursday, April 3, 2008. This show now belongs to their illustrious art teachers and cultural advisors, The Rare Form Art collective.
Well known for their infamous DJ Collective, The Rare Form Crew. This young progressive troupe of painters, designers, dj's, music producers and overall trendsetters are a welcome addition to Paint In The Pods! This pack is headed by Artist, International DJ, designer and overall talent Timothy DeGroot (aka tD) & mind behind the Rare Form Crew + Rare Funktion Art joint's. The Collective art work of this crew has been shown at LIVE at Doog Gallery, Bazaar, Halo Lounge, The Loft, Earthlink Live, and in the Homes of the Department of Redeveloment (DOR). 
The Rare Form Crew has been instrumental in spearheading and steering the cultural undercurrent of Atlanta, going on ten years. They have resident Dj gigs at Halo, Dupre's, Decatur Social Club, Bazaar, and have been seen in Atlanta everywhere in Atlanta and internationally from Lisbon to Bejing to Miami and L.A. The art you will see if a representive of their sub-cultural and movment. The crew epitomizes a progressive global perspective. Come see what that the hype is about.
What are you doing for Easter? Easter Brunch On Sunday, March 23 Rotating 360 degrees above the city, The Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View will offer a three-course Easter Brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will feature Atlanta Magician Ken Scott who will keep the younger guests entertained with magic tricks. Paint In the Pods is part of Mix, mingle and meet new friends on the First Thursday of each month. Guests attending "Paint in the Pods™" can register to win a Dinner for Two and experience their own art making. Paint in the Pods is free and open to the public. RSVP's strongly suggested due to capacity. Guests will enjoy delicious complimentary contemporary American hors d'oeuvres from our new Executive Chef Christian Messier. Special featured cocktails are available for purchase.
