Beleza is Atlanta's most innovative cocktail lounge.. Portuguese for "beauty," Beleza combines Brazilian juice cocktails, healthy tropical foods and live latin music for a truly unique and refreshing experience.
 |
|
The menu is composed of a variety of small-plate options, including crudo and ceviche, artful and satisfying main-course salads, and delicious, inventive dishes featuring local vegetables and heirloom grains. In addition, house-made raw desserts are available for the sweeter side of life. The full bar specializes in Brazilian fruit cocktails handcrafted with a healthy twist. The cocktails are prepared with organic sustainable tropical fruits and top shelf liquor, and sweetened with agave nectar. Beleza also offers a selection of craft beers, organic wines and fresh sodas.
Beleza's intimate interior is constructed with Oscar Niemeyer forms and decorated with organic, modern sensibility: natural textures and materials wrap curvilinear forms.. To round out the experience, the sounds of Bossa Nova and its modern interpretations fill the space and soothe the ear, and local latin and jazz bands play throughout the week.

Inspired by Spanish Modernism, Cuerno is Riccardo Ullio's fourth addition to the U Restaurant group. Cuerno brings authentic, flavorful Spanish cuisine to midtown Atlanta inspired by Ullio's many trips to Spain. Dishes like saffron-infused Paella, Mariscos alla Plancha and Pimientos del Patron are paired with a progressive, all-Spanish wine list. Made of salvaged-metal, a Spanish sculpture of an iconic charging bull by sculptor Thomas Prochnow is the focal point of the interior.
Cuerno has been critically praised since its opening as defining Spanish dining in Atlanta. It has been given a rare four star rating by Merith Ford of the AJC, who says "An enclave of Spanish cooking, it is the only on in the city, and the food is close to exquisite. The restaurant embodies the bohemian spirit of Barcelona." |

Opened in 2000, Fritti is the only restaurant in Atlanta serving authentic Neopolitan pizza. Situated in a re-fashioned garage in Atlanta's historic Inman Park, Fritti offers guests a chance to taste the true taste of casual Italian dining. A wood-burning oven provides both the focal point of the dining room and creates the signature, soft pillowy pizza crust in the Neapolitan style. A spacious, open patio allows guests the chance to enjoy al fresco dining.
|
Fritti prides itself on producing quintessential Neapolitan pizza: soft, pillowy crust is blistered by the intense hit of the wood-burning oven, painted with San Marzano tomato sauce and lavished with bufala mozzarella. Simply prepared to let their true flavors shine through, Fritti's pizza has received the coveted Verace Pizza Napoletana accrediation, one of only 18 restaurants in the nation to receive the honor.
Opened in 1999, Sotto Sotto creates authentic Italian food, with complex flavors that develop from centuries of Italian culinary traditions. Sotto Sotto's impeccable hospitality and intimate dining room promote the feeling that one is dining in a roomful of friends rather than strangers. A hundred years of plaster layer the dining room walls, hand-sandblasted by Chef/Owner Riccardo Ullio to create abstract patterns of pale blue, cream, faded green and turquoise, reminiscent of a seaside Roman villa. Simple décor and soothing colors of Sotto Sotto leave diners to focus on the honest food complemented by an all-Italian, awarding-winning wine list.

|
Sotto Sotto's dishes are firmly rooted in centuries of traditional Italian regional cuisine. Dishes like Tortelli di Michelangelo, a 15th century dish featuring plump ravioli stuffed with veal, chicken and pork in a silky butter and sage sauce, whole-roasted, snowy-white fish filleted table-side and a meltingly tender New York Strip with wilted arugula and crisp potatoes are just some of the delicious choices the restaurant has to offer. Sotto Sotto is commited to "honest food": high quality and expertly prepared, allowing the food to speak for itself.
Sotto Sotto's cuisine and the city's most comprehensive Italian wine lists contributed to Sotto Sotto's honor of being named Atlanta's "Restaurant of the Year 2006" by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
